Cookout and Casting Masks

at the home of Elizabeth Barnes, 542 Laurel Lake Drive, North Augusta. (803-292-9944)

Saturday's meeting : Casting our plaster molds and Goddess Cookout! (No we're not cooking "goddesses," We're Goddesses Cooking.)

Particulars: Bring your plaster face cast.  The most important part is the inside of the cast (negative) to cast in clay.
We will be casting your face in clay.  I have clay etc. for all - $10 for clay and firing.
Bring something to grill or a side dish and drink to share
Elizabeth has paper products, one 19 inch square charcoal grill.  If anyone has an extra grill - bring it!  Those who like are welcome to swim, or go for a paddle boat ride around the lake  (time permitting.)  Come create, relax and enjoy.

Directions:
Exit 5 off of I-20 in SC. Go north toward Edgefield. (left if you are coming from Aiken, Right if you are coming from Augusta.) Laurel Lake Drive is an immediate right in front of 76 gas station. Watch for large Laurel Lake Sign. Go one mile down Laurel lake to 542 on right. Come on in. :)

Coming from downtown Augusta.
Follow rte 25 north (13th Street Bridge), through North Augusta, Belvedere to I-20 approximately 5 - 6 miles. Cross over I-20 over pass and take the frist right onto Laurel Lake Drive.
